For as long as I can remember, I have always loved dogs. They have been a huge part of my life. So much of my learning about the caring, nurturing and helping of dogs has been bourne by my very own doggie companions. Together we have travelled the tough roads of rescue, illness, injury, ageing and this has propelled me to seek out knowledge and treatments.
There is so very much we can do to help dogs live full, happy and healthy lives. Often when people feel there is no more that can be done, there certainly is, and hydrotherapy, massage and red light therapy fit in wonderfully into a rehabilitation program.
When my dear Staffy, ChiChi tore her cruciate ligament, I was devastated and desperate to help her. She was the driving force behind me looking into canine physical therapy. The first time I heard about a doggie who was due to be put to sleep because she sustained a neurological problem and couldn't walk, then after hydrotherapy, actually went on to live a full life back to walking, I had goosebumps and knew that's the path for me.
Living on the beautiful Fraser Coast, I look forward to working with dedicated and loving owners to help their dogs experience greater physical health, happiness and wellbeing.
